Terms of Service

1. The service

Almost Everything ("we", "us", "the service") is a digital learning platform offering audiobook summaries, podcasts, and video content in Tamil and English, available at almosteverythingapp.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal

• Free tier: selected content is available at no charge with an account.
• Monthly / yearly plans: these are recurring subscriptions billed through UPI Autopay (or other supported payment methods) via our payment partner Razorpay. By subscribing you authorise an automatic debit mandate; your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Lifetime plan: a single one-time payment granting ongoing premium access for the life of the service. It does not renew and nothing further is charged.
• Cancellation: you can cancel a recurring plan anytime from your profile (or from your UPI app's mandate section). You keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for; no further charges are made.
• Price changes: we may change plan prices; changes apply from your next billing cycle and we will notify you in advance.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Content & acceptable use

All content on the platform (audio, video, text, artwork) is owned by or licensed to Almost Everything and is protected by copyright. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial right to stream content within the app. You may not download (except where the app provides the feature), re-record, redistribute, publicly perform, or share your account or the content.

We may add, change, or remove titles from the catalog over time. Summaries are our original interpretations for educational purposes and are not substitutes for the underlying books.

5. Termination

You can delete your account anytime by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (including account sharing or content piracy); in such cases fees already paid are not refundable.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and error-free but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
