Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, preferred language, and (optionally) a WhatsApp number if you share it. Signing in with Google shares your Google account name, email, and avatar with us.
• Usage data: what you play, your listening/watching progress, favourites, and library activity — used to power continue-listening, stats, and recommendations inside the app.
• Payment data: payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — we store only the transaction reference, plan, amount, and subscription status needed to run your membership.
• Technical data: standard logs (IP address, device/browser type) for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

2. How we use it

To provide the service (streaming, sync, library), process subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve content and features, and send service messages (payment receipts, renewal reminders, important account notices). We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who processes it

We use trusted processors to run the platform: Supabase (database & authentication), Razorpay (payments), Gumlet (media streaming), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to perform its role.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Your rights

You can access and update your profile in the app. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by writing to us via the contact page. We retain transaction records as required by Indian tax and payment regulations even after account deletion.

6. Security & retention

Data is stored with access controls and encrypted in transit. We keep your data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it after account deletion, except where law requires retention.

7. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app with a new effective date above.
